About The Program
Holistic Doula School is a 12-week live training program designed to prepare you to confidently support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — while also launching a legitimate, sustainable doula business.
This is not a basic outline or weekend class.
This is comprehensive, physiologic, skills-based doula training — integrated with real-world business setup so you leave ready to serve moms.

Holistic Doula School gives equal weight to physiologic birth and postpartum integration. You’ll learn how to support informed decision-making without becoming rigid or reactive. You’ll understand nuance — how to think in real time, how to navigate interventions without panic, and how to hold space when plans change.
This program also integrates business foundations from the beginning. You will not finish this training wondering how to price your services or write a contract.
You will leave prepared to practice independently.
Continued mentorship beyond the training is optional and separate.

You don't need a healthcare background, you don't need prior experience, you don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to be genuinely called to this and ready to actually do the work. Yes! This is a real, live, cohort-based program. The Fall 2026 cohort runs August 31 through November 22. Every week you'll get a new module packed full of video trainings, resources and a homework assignments (all of which you can do on your own schedule), and then we will meet together for a live group call each week and access to our private community Facebook group. Dates are set in advance so you can actually plan your life around them.

Realistically 2–6 hours depending on the week. There are module lessons, a live call, and your weekly assignment. I'm not going to tell you it's light — it's not, because it's real training. But it's also not designed to swallow your life. I built this knowing that most of you have a lot going on already!

Yes. Full stop. Honestly some of the best doulas I know became doulas while they were knee-deep in the baby years, because you already get it in a way that no textbook can teach. We talk a lot in this program about building a practice that actually fits your life (on-call structure, sustainable scheduling, all of it.) You don't need to be in a different season! You just need a program that was built for the one you're in.

Yup! You'll receive a certificate of completion from Holistic Doula School. We're not affiliated with DONA or CAPPA, and that's intentional. Those certifications aren't legally required to practice as a doula anywhere in the US, and many of the most respected doulas working today don't have them. What you'll walk away with is rigorous, comprehensive training and a real portfolio of work that shows clients you know what you're doing.

All calls are recorded — so if life happens, you won't miss the content! That said, the live calls are genuinely where so much of the good stuff happens. The real-time scenarios, the discussion, the feedback. I'd encourage you to protect that time as much as you can.. but also, if you can't make it that is 100% okay. Ps- calls will likely be on a weekday morning :)

This is my favorite question to answer. YES! The whole point of the program is to get you ready. By the time we're done you'll have your pricing figured out, your contracts drafted, your services defined, and an actual plan for landing your first client. You don't need to be ready when you start. That's literally what the 12 weeks are for. And if you don't want to start then... you have lifetime access to this content, forever and ever..which mean when you're ready, it will be here!
